Since 2014, Clay’s Performance Construction has delivered high-quality industrial/commercial construction services locally, regionally, and nationally. Clay’s Performance Electric, our electrical division which came to life in 2021, has expanded our services to include industrial/commercial high voltage electrical work as well as other electrical services. Together, the construction and electrical aspects of our company come together to streamline projects and form a full range of availability for our customers nationwide.

Our Story

Clay’s Performance Construction was founded in 2014 by owner, Jonathan Clay. After working in the construction industry as a millwright general foreman/project manager for ten years, Johnathan realized that there was a need for a company that was focused on quality, integrity, and building long standing relationships with both customers and employees.

Clay’s Performance Electric was founded in 2021 as a DBA by owner, Jonathan Clay. Jonathan formed the electrical division to ensure the same level of commitment to both our customers and employees would be matched within projects that included electrical elements. The ability to provide quality industrial and commercial electrical services alongside esteemed construction services in order to encompass the entire project just makes sense!

Plexiglass “Aerosol” Boxes

Clay’s Performance Construction LLC was recognized locally in the tri-state area for collaborating with other local companies to build and donate plexiglass “aerosol” boxes to Cabell Huntington Hospital, Charleston Area Medical Center, St. Mary’s Hospital, and King’s Daughters Medical Center.
